Sorry for the long hiatus. 

Better it would have been a snowy winter in New Jersey to match the depth of my depression;

seeing as it's been a near record warm winter I feel I Emo'ed my heart out for nothing.

Tomorrow is Emily's Gotcha Day;

or her Bronze Jubilee

Not the same ring as Silver, Gold or Diamond Jubilee, is it?

In the thick fog of Depression, I worked out the day she and her brothers were found in a dumpster behind a mechanic's garage in 20F weather was January 30, 2004.

The V-E-T estimated their age at 12 days.

She's due a Jubilee of whatever kind, because 

like many of us, 

She is a Survivor.

QM is very sorry She has been neglectful in keeping up with posting news and pictures of

The Royals and Gentleman Beau.

It seems 2011 kicked Her Royal Arse but good,

beginning with Hurricane Irene, the first Hurricane that came ashore in New Jersey in QM's lifetime.

Then Labor Day kicked Our Seasonal Depression into High Gear much earlier than expected.

And so, We sincerely apologise for not keeping you all, Beau's extended family, updated with his welfare.

Beau is doing Marvelously!!

I've posted a few short videos to YouTube,

and I thought I would "paper" the remainder of this post with as many photos

as Blogger will allow! (This may take 2 posts for today!)

While QM is accustomed to hiding under Her duvet until St. Paddy's day or until the first daffodils poke their pretty cheerful little heads out signaling Spring is not far away,

Our infamous "PICSPAMS" and YouTube posts will carry on as best as We can.

ManCat Monday ~ "Yo! Yo! Beau Be My Bro', Yo!"

Brutus and Beau are now officially BroFurs!!

A cute thing happened last night.  One of my neighbors came to the door, Brutus' Favorite, as it happens.  Well, as is his custom, he finds a way around my futile attempt to block him, and slips into the hall to greet her.  When she opened her door to her apartment, (she's right across from me) Brutus saunters in, also as his is custom.  He's gone a visitin' with Aleksandra on several occasions, but last night wasn't a good time, so I had to fetch him.

Beau has been wanting out also, as of late, and seeing Brutus accomplish his escape spurred Beau into a

Protest Mode.

(A little back story - Beau has the most adorable chirp, not a "mehoww" but a
"Puuuuurrrrrt?", his voice rising at the end!)

He lay by the door, smelling, reaching out and "pppuurrrrt?"-ing for the better part of 20 minutes!

I still have that retched harness, and thought well, maybe he wants a walkabout, and it is permitted to have your pet on a leash anywhere in the building, so I called Beau over, rattling the harness and he came jogging over.

He took one good sniff of it, and backed away!

I've seen a vest-type of Harness somewhere.

They even come in woofie sizes.

By the way,  I have observed Brutus giving Beau Texas-size head-butts and chin rubs!

Thankful Thursday ~ Beau's in the Holiday Spirit

Beau has decided that today he will join me on the sofa, where I plant myself when I'm on the computer.

I'm very pleased, as this shows he is seeking company and isn't content to simply snuggle "in his room"!

We would like to also extend Our deepest sympathy to The Taylor Family on the sudden loss of Seaborne.

He is a most Beautiful Angel and will be welcomed with much love.

Good-Byes are heartbreaking for those of us left behind, but Seaborne knew instantly, it was simply "So long, for now".
